Abington Art Center is a community center focused on music, drawing, painting, oil, ceramics, metals, sewing, embroidery, pottery, and jewelry classes. It is an outdoor free concert venue, with theater, dance, jazz, and live music on stage. You can buy gifts, crafts, bracelets, necklaces, and rings at the unique holiday fair.

Weather the storm with us for this year’s Shakespeare on the Lawn event at Abington Art Center. Our telling of William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” is suitable for all ages and is open to all members of the Abington, Jenkintown, and Philadelphia communities. This event is pay-what-you-can with no minimum donation.

Bring a lawn chair, a picnic blanket, some sunscreen and snacks, and spend a couple hours with us on Abington Art Center’s open air stage. Masks are encouraged during high density performances, with N95s available onsite should anyone have need. In the event of poor weather, shows will be moved to the covered Pavilion on site.
