Abington Art Center is a community center focused on music, drawing, painting, oil, ceramics, metals, sewing, embroidery, pottery, and jewelry classes. It is an outdoor free concert venue, with theater, dance, jazz, and live music on stage. You can buy gifts, crafts, bracelets, necklaces, and rings at the unique holiday fair.

York Street Hustle is a 10-piece classic soul music ensemble from Philadelphia. They perform with the grit, sweat, and attention to detail from Motown to Aretha Franklin to original tracks inspired by the 60’s-era sound and beyond.”

7/13 | Combo Melaza Salsa Night

A Special Performance and

Dance Lessons by Flaco’s Dance Factory

In collaboration with local Jenkintown dance school, Flaco’s Dance Factory, AAC presents a live salsa lesson and dance party on the lawn to the sounds of Philly’s Combo Melaza.”

7/20 | Mukamuri

Mukamuri is a Soul artist from Zimbabwe currently based in Doylestown, PA. Mukamuri uses his music beyond entertainment. While his music is entertaining, it also educates and challenges issues that society faces. “

7/27 | Full Moon Fever
(Regional Tom Petty Tribute)

Full Moon Fever is a Bucks County-based tribute to Tom Petty. They have an amazing full sound and don’t miss a note with up to a 3 hour repertoire of Petty classics. The band is fronted by summer concert series alumni — Pat Mencel of the Fleetwood Mac ‘Rumours’ Side A band. “

Abington Art Center Annual Summer Concert Series

FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Every Thursday evening throughout July.

(June 29, July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27)

Grounds Open at 5:30pm | Band plays 7-9pm

Grab a blanket or lawn chair and get cozy on our beautiful back lawn. Bring a picnic basket or enjoy delicious food and drinks from our onsite food trucks and beverage vendors. Don’t forget your dancing shoes! This year’s bands will have us dancing under the stars all summer long.


Parking for this event is limited, but additional parking is conveniently located across the street at the Triangle Parking Lot, courtesy of Abington Friends School, on the corner of Meetinghouse and Jenkintown Rd.

Weather These events are rain or shine! Our concerts will go on in light rain and will only be cancelled in the event of hazardous weather. Weather related cancellations will be made 24 hours in advance. All other weather updates will be posted as needed, so check back often!

SPOTLIGHTSummer Concert Producer, Joe Montone!

Joe Montone is a Concert & Experience Producer, Musician, and Community Advocate from Doylestown, PA. He has collaborated with unique venues and regional + nationally recognized artists for over 12 years. As Founder of Remedy Electrical Society, his focus is to create platforms for communities to flourish through the power of live music. We are super excited to collaborate with Joe for a second year on our summer soundtrack of togetherness at Abington Art Center!
