Abington Art Center is a community center focused on music, drawing, painting, oil, ceramics, metals, sewing, embroidery, pottery, and jewelry classes. It is an outdoor free concert venue, with theater, dance, jazz, and live music on stage. You can buy gifts, crafts, bracelets, necklaces, and rings at the unique holiday fair.

Spring Art & Fine Craft Fair 2024


Sunday, April 21st from 10 AM – 4PM

(Rain Date: Sunday, April 28)

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Join us outside on our expansive lawn for a fun day of handcrafted gifts by local artists, an art auction, food, live music and more! Artists from around the region will showcase their work in a range of media including jewelry, ceramics, glass, textiles, painting, and photography. Enjoy handcrafted food and locally brewed beer while exploring our 27-acre sculpture park. 

Parking for this event is limited, but additional parking is conveniently located across the street at the Triangle Parking Lot, courtesy of Abington Friends School, on the corner of Meetinghouse and Jenkintown Rd.

RAIN DATE: This event is rain or shine, and will ONLY move to the designated rain date in the event of hazardous weather. All weather-related changes will be announced 24 hours in advance.

VENDOR FAQ

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

We are looking for local, handmade, original works of art and artisan crafts.

Commercially made, assembled from commercial kits, mass-produced items for

resale will not be accepted. Independent gourmet and specialty food vendors are

also welcome.

WHICH APPLICATION SHOULD FOOD VENDORS USE?

– Mobile food and beverage vendors including food trucks and food carts should use the FOOD VENDOR application. Independent ready-to-eat food and beverage vendors that bring their own tables and tents should use the FOOD VENDOR application.

– Independent packaged gourmet and specialty food vendors that are applying fora regular 10 x 10 vending space should use the VENDOR Application.

IS THERE AN APPLICATION FEE?

Yes, there is a non-refundable $10 application fee. Having a submission fee allows us to cover jurying and other upfront production costs that make it possible for us to bring these events to our community. This fee is applied to the vending fee of accepted applicants.

ARE THERE DIFFERENT TYPES OF VENDING SPOTS?

Yes, we have 4 types of vending spots available…

  1. LAWN – 10′ x 10′ on even grass but may have slight grade $100
  2. PATHWAY – 10′ x 10′ on even grass adjacent to paved walkway, may have slight grade $125
  3. PAVILION – 8′ x 8′ covered pavilion, access to electricity $150
  4. KIDS CORNER – NEW! Join our budding artist section. Half of a 6 ft table – we provide the table and the chair – $25


WHAT IS YOUR WEATHER POLICY?
  • This event is rain or shine and vendors should be prepared for outdoor weather conditions including light rain.
  • The event will ONLY move to the designated rain date in the event of hazardous or severe weather conditions. If weather conditions are dangerous on the rain date as well, AAC reserves the right to cancel the craft fair. No credits or refunds will be given. All weather-related changes will be called 24 hours in advance.


IS THERE AN APPLICATION DEADLINE?
  • Opens Friday, Jan 19, 2024
  • Closes Monday Feb 12, 2024
  • All applicants will be notified of their status Friday Feb 16, 2024
  • Vendor payments due Wednesday Feb 21, 2024



IS THERE A WAITLIST?

Generally if a vendor spot does open up it is offered to one of the artists already on the waitlist from the juried application call. If you would like to be added to the waitlist you are welcome to contact bethl@abingtonartcenter.org.

GOOD TO KNOW
  • A large portion of the property is on a hill (no more than 5% grade) and vendors should be prepared to set up on a slight incline. If you are on a Pathway or Lawn spot, please bring something to level your table and displays.
  • Due to limited road access, vendor must park in designated load-in areas and WALK all equipment/supplies to their assigned vending locations. All vendor spots are within 200ft of a loading area and accessible by no-step walkways or even lawn. We highly recommend bringing dollys or hand-trucks for moving your items.
WHAT IS THE NEW KIDS CORNER?
  • We are excited to promote our young artists! Our Kids Corner section will have shared table spaces at a low fee for young artists up to 16 years old who are first time vendors. AAC will provide the table and chairs. Space is limited!


IS THIS A JURIED SHOW?

Yes, this is a juried show. Application does not guarantee acceptance. 


IS THERE A MEMBER DISCOUNT?

Yes! AAC Members receive a $25 discount ($10 discount for Kids Corner). Apply for membership today at  abingtonartcenter.org/membership/




VISITOR FAQ

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

We love dogs, but pets are not permitted on township property. Please leave your furry friends at home.


HOURS?

The craft fair opens at 10am and closes at 4pm. Please do not arrive early as we do not permit “early bird” sales.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Limited parking is available in our main parking lot located on your left after entering through the main entrance on Meetinghouse rd. Additional parking is conveniently located across the street at the Triangle Parking Lot, courtesy of Abington Friends School, on the corner of Meetinghouse and Jenkintown Rd


GOOD TO KNOW
  • While most of our vendors take credit cards or venmo/paypal, it’s always best to bring cash
  • Restrooms are available inside the manor.
  • Our galleries are open during the craft fair. Make sure to stop in and see our current exhibition!
  • All areas of the Manor main floor and walking paths around the grounds are fully accessible. Accessible parking can be found in the front of the manor and in the main parking lot
