Abington Art Center is a community center focused on music, drawing, painting, oil, ceramics, metals, sewing, embroidery, pottery, and jewelry classes. Abington Art Center is proud to host this special Presentation in conjunction with the American Color Print Society: Members Spring Exhibition.

This lecture is about Alverthorpe Gallery during the time it was the home of the Lessing J. Rosenwald Collection of Prints, Rare Books and Drawings. Tony Rosati will review memories and anecdotes from the way it was when he worked at Alverthorpe as a curatorial assistant, the last 9 years before it was relocated in Washington DC. Rosati’s lecture will also discuss the staff of Alverthorpe Gallery and Lessing Rosenwald.
