Embroidered Portrait Workshop & Talk

Join fiber artist Bonnie MacAllister for a morning of conversation then try your hand at embroidering portraits!

From Bonnie:

“Using a spectrum of basic to more involved sculptural stitches, practice on an embroidery hoop and a guided pattern (sewable reference guides available.)  Learn how to transfer your chosen reference image from a cell phone or drawing to create a unique portrait or original design to create your own original piece. Small embroidery hoop and materials provided. Display your work at home by placing the hoop on a small nail.”

No experience necessary. Teens aged 14 and up may participate with a registered adult
