Camp Information

Each summer we welcome area youth from age 4 to 16 for summer camp classes! Information for our Summer 2026 Camp Season will be available the first week of February, with Registration opening on February 10, 2026.

Important Information

This summer we will offer morning camps for ages 4-6, 7-9 and 9-12 as well as afternoon camps for ages 7-9, 9-12 and 13-16. Camps will begin the week of June 22nd and run through August 28th! Camps are booked weekly with some Ceramics Camps running for 2 weeks!

This summer we will offer general visual arts camps, jewelry, ceramics, comics & Illustration, printmaking, painting and theater.

Camp Scholarships

AAC awards need based scholarships through the generous funding of grants and donations. Our 2026 Camp scholarship application is now available to review. Please review the form before you apply to have all of your information ready. Items needed to apply:

  • Camp the child would like to attend.
  • Financial Information

Camp classes will be available to review on February 10, 2026. Scholarships will be awarded on April 1st 2026. Applications received after March 30th, 2026 will be kept on file for consideration as more funding becomes available. 2026 Application for Camp Scholarships

Teen Camp Interns

Are you a teen age 14-17 that would like to volunteer in our camps? Our Teen Camp Interns earn volunteer hours and spend their time assisting our Campers and Instructors! Teens that love art and being in the studio will enjoy this experience!

  1. Please fill out this required form: Summer Camp Authorization Form and Photo Release 2026
  2. Please pack a water bottle and a snack to enjoy during an outdoor break. (AAC will alert camp families of food allergies on as as needed basis to ensure the safely of all campers.)
  3. Dress for mess and please wear shoes to run and play!
  4. Please arrive 10 minutes before your camp begins to allow time for check in.
  5. An AAC staff member will be stationed outside the Studio School door to check in each camper and provide a lanyard with a name tag.
  6. Please allow extra time on Mondays as it is a new camp week and everyone is finding their way.
  7. Please pick-up your child on time.

Camp classes will walk outside together at the end of camp (noon or 4pm). Please be waiting for your child, you will need to sign out your child and return the lanyard each day. Campers age 13-16, that are allowed to sign themself out may do so at this time.

Campers enrolled in morning and afternoon camps may bring a packed lunch and a towel or mat to eat a supervised lunch between camps. Lunch will either be in a studio, the galleries or outdoor pavillion.

AAC Camp Policies

Registrations for AAC camps are accepted with full payment only. There is no prorating of any camp. AAC reserves the right to make changes in programs, schedules, instructors and tuition fees, and to cancel camps due to insufficient enrollment. AAC reserves the right to cancel or refuse the registration of a student who is disruptive or interferes with the ability of other students to enjoy their camp. AAC also reserves the right to use photographs of students and their work for promotional purposes.

SICK POLICY: Campers must be symptom free and fever free for 24 hours to attend camp.

AGE POLICY: Campers must be within the age range of the camp by the first day of camp. Please call if you are having trouble registering.

BEHAVIOR POLICY: Campers will treat all other campers, teachers, interns,  Art Center staff, artworks and the property/grounds with respect. Verbal and physical abuse, including foul or obscene language and gestures, as well as disregard for physical safety will result in expulsion from camp without a refund or credit.

REFUND POLICY: Full refunds will be issued in the event a camp is cancelled. We will get in contact at least one week prior to the start of a camp to notify of a cancellation. Registration and member fees are not refundable.

CAMP WITHDRAWALS & TRANSFERS:

Withdrawals made more than 2 weeks prior to your registered week will result in a full refund less a $25 fee. Refunds will not be given for withdrawals made less than 2 weeks prior to your registered week.

Transfers, based on availability, may be possible for a fee of $15. Deadline for transfer requests is 1 week prior to your registered week.
