February 23 (1-Day)
A monotype is a print made by rolling or painting ink onto a slick surface such as a plexiglas plate and then transferring the ink onto paper.
In this workshop, we will use several plates to print thin transparent layers of color and incorporate hand cut stencils to create new colors and shapes. Bring a sense of playfulness, experimentation and openness to the surprise of chance!
Materials fee $20, paid to instructor.
Registration Deadline: February 13.
