This drawing class is designed to foster comfort and grow your art skills. Deeper engagement and higher learning can occur when we are relaxed. In an effort to ensure that you can draw upon your innate or newly developing art abilities, we will include exercise and breathing techniques from MBSR, mindfulness. Students will be guided and empowered to gently move and stretch while drawing. Our classroom will be transformed with quiet music, a deep sense of calm and a non-judgmental critique style. You will be encouraged to push beyond your current comfort in drawing. Come share this uplifting art experience.
