Theatre on the Verge presents “Much Ado About Nothing” by William Shakespeare.

In Association with Abington Arts Center. August 11-13, 7:00 PM-9:00 PM. August 18-20, 7:00-9:00 PM.

Romance, deception, and betrayal all feature in Theatre on the Verge’s production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Marian Barshinger.

Don Pedro and his entourage are invited to restore themselves in Leonato’s househould, a luxury spa and resort. Amidst the opulent background of massage parlors, saunas, and tennis courts—verbal spars (and literal ones!) break out as romantic tensions build between Claudio and Hero, and Beatrice and Benedick. Questions of true fidelity and virtue must be wrestled with as the suitors discover that love might be the hardest fight of all.

Approximate run time: 2 hours 30 minutes.

Rated PG for some humor and dramatic situations.

Bring a chair or picnic blanket, and a snack.
