Age Restrictions – 16+

Students who are age 16 and older are eligible to register for adult classes. Ages 15 and younger must register for a YOUTH CLASS.

Painting

This class is for painters with some experience who are looking for feedback on their techniques and approaches to oil or acrylic media. Work on an individualized basis with the teacher’s guidance so that you can develop your style at your own pace.

Intro to Handbuilding and Surface Designs | Katie Schweitzer

In this course students will explore the basics of handbuilding with clay in order to create functional structures and experimental sculptures. Students will learn new techniques for building with clay and will work to refine those skills through experimentation. The final focus of the course will be surface design, This will give the students the chance to explore various finishing techniques for clay such as: sgraffito, underglaze painting, design transfers, and carving/cutting.

This course is for all experience levels. Beginning and veteran ceramicists alike are welcome!
