Abington Art Center is a community center focused on music, drawing, painting, oil, ceramics, metals, sewing, embroidery, pottery, and jewelry classes. It is an outdoor free concert venue, with theater, dance, jazz, and live music on stage. You can buy gifts, crafts, bracelets, necklaces, and rings at the unique holiday fair.

Please check the supply list for the class. Abington Art Center does not provide supplies for adult classes. If there is no supply list, your teacher will go over supplies on the first day of class.

Age Restrictions – 16+

Students who are age 16 and older are eligible to register for adult classes. Ages 15 and younger must register for a YOUTH CLASS.

Painting

Discover a varirty of printmaking methods including monotype, collagraph, linocut, and drypoint. These mediums provide an introduction to the art of printmaking for the novice and a refresher for those with experience. The class is tailored to the students’ interests. It allows for individualized instruction with ongoing demonstrations and informal critiques. The class environment is one of mutual support, camarderie and fun! Join us in our spacious studio and experience printmaking on our state of the art Rembrandt etching press.

Papermaking Workshop | Winnie Radolan

Join the artists and paper enthusiasts who have gathered in the community to explore their “voice” in the art of handmade paper. This unique, ongoing studio class features independent work with instructor guidance, so everyone can explore the medium at their own level, pursuing their personal vision. The group includes artists of all levels of experience who are exploring paper-making, working in both 2D and 3D constructions. Pulp and most equipment provided.
