Age Restrictions – 16+
Students who are age 16 and older are eligible to register for adult classes. Ages 15 and younger must register for a YOUTH CLASS.
Painting

Learn color theory and brushwork techniques that will help you paint beautiful, fluid images full of bright color. This is a class for students of all skill levels and abilities.

Plein Air on Location | Week-long Workshop| Megan Giampietro
Monday-Friday 9:00am – 12:00pm

The Plein Aire Landscape on Location class encourages artists to get back into nature and landscape study. Mornings will be spent painting or drawing at different outdoor locations* that provide lovely views for the creation of beautiful works of art. Emphasis will be on improving technical skills while working from scenes in nature, whether rolling landscape vistas or natural found objects. Each day the class will be a different location to get back in touch with nature and creative viewpoints. Artists in the course may work in a medium of their own choosing such as oils, watercolors or drawing materials.
*Alternate arrangements will be made if it rains

For potters of all levels and abilities who want to perfect their skills in handbuilding or wheel throwing to create an array of ceramic pieces such as cups, bowls, or sculpture. Experiment with surface design in order to improve the quality of your work. By repeating the class, the more accomplished you will become at the craft.

Intro to Handbuilding and Surface Designs | Katie Schweitzer

In this course students will explore the basics of handbuilding with clay in order to create functional structures and experimental sculptures. The final focus of the course will be surface design. This will give the students the chance to explore various finishing techniques for clay such as: sgraffito, underglaze painting, design transfers, and carving/cutting.
This course is for all experience levels. Beginning and veteran ceramicists alike are welcome!

Wheel Throwing | Teresa Thompson – CLASS FULL

Study the basics of wheel throwing and learn to make a variety of both decorative and functional mugs, cups, bowls, vases, and more. Utilize surface decoration techniques to enhance your creations. This course is open to the beginner
on the potter’s wheel as well as the more experienced student.

sterling silver. However, brass, copper, and nickel silver are also available to work with. There will be a $10.00 materials fee on the first day that can be given to the instructor.
