Directions
BY TRAIN
Take the R2, R5 or R3 to the Jenkintown Station. Walk away from the Station across West Avenue, and then walk up Greenwood Avenue. You will cross Old York Road and then Washington Lane. After Washington Lane, you will arrive at a fork. Take the left fork (still Greenwood Avenue); this will dead end at our entrance.
BY CAR
From Center City Philadelphia
Take I-76 (Schulykill Expressway) to Route 1 North /Roosevelt Boulevard. Exit at Broad Street and make a left on Broad Street (Rt. 611) to go north. Follow Rt. 611 as it bears off to the right onto Old York Road - the Oak Lane Diner is on the left. After you enter Montgomery County you will pass Elkins Park Plaza on left and the Cheltenham Township Building on the right. Near the top of the hill on the right is Beth Shalom, a Frank Lloyd Wright synagogue. Make a right at the next light which is Meetinghouse Road. AAC is on the right after the second light.
From Baltimore and the South
Take I-95 North to Philadelphia. Take the Cottman Avenue (Rt. 73) Exit and follow directions from South Jersey /NE Philadelphia below.
From New York/North Jersey
Take New Jersey Turnpike to Pennsylvania Turnpike - Exit 6. Follow Directions from PA Turnpike.
From the PA Turnpike
Exit at the Willow Grove Exit (#343) and follow 611 South for about 6 miles. As you pass 3 car dealers on the right and Barnes & Noble, you are entering Jenkintown. At the top of the hill, look for the light at West Avenue. Make a left at the next intersection which is Greenwood Avenue. Go straight for a couple blocks until the stop sign and bear left. Greenwood deadends on Meetinghouse Road. The Art Center entrance is across the street.
From South Jersey/NE Philadelphia
In New Jersey follow Rt 73 North and cross the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge. After the bridge make a right and follow signs for Rt. 73 West/Cottman Avenue into Montgomery County. Cottman Avenue becomes Township Line Road. After Allegheny Hospital/Elkins Park, go right at the second light on Jenkintown Road. At the third light, go right on Meetinghouse Road. AAC is the first drive on the right.
