FAQ

Do I need to have the COVID-19 vaccine to attend camps and classes?

Yes. We require all students ages 5 and up to be fully vaccinated before the first day of class. If your child is under 5 years of age or has just turned 5 recently, we will not require vaccinations at the start of class.

Will you accept medical or religious exemptions for the vaccine?

Both religious and medical exemptions will be accepted in lieu of a COVID-19 vaccine in conjunction with a note from your doctor or from your religious leader. Please send this documentation to StudioSchool@abingtonartcenter.org before the start of class.

Do you offer virtual classes?

No. Currently, all AAC classes are in person.

Do I have to bring my own supplies to class?

Yes, if you are enrolled in an adult class. Abington Art Center provides materials only for students ages 4 – 15.

Do I have to wear a mask in class?

It is optional for AAC students and personnel to wear a mask over their nose and mouth while inside the building. In addition, students are required to show proof of their full COVID-19 vaccination. Check our  policy for more info.

My friends and I want to take the same class. Can I reserve some spots?

No. AAC requires that all registrations are paid in full at the time of enrollment. Check our  registration policy for more info.

How big are the classrooms?

Each studio varies in size. Our largest classroom is our painting/printmaking studio. Class sizes are kept small, with a maximum of 10 students for painting & drawing classes, and 8 students for ceramics and jewelry.
