Youth Classes
Abington Art Center’s program of youth art classes is rooted in the concept that participation in the art-making process is a vital, unique way for children to explore their world. Our mission is to support this concept through small classes and carefully planned lessons placing an emphasis on slowing down to enjoy a full, imaginative exploration of ideas and materials. As children shape art materials, they are giving new meaning to their experiences and exploring new opportunities for self expression. Our faculty are professional artists who have experience and knowledge in working with young people and who love to teach. Classes may be repeated because projects are always new!
