DRAWING & PAINTING
Introduction to Watercolor
Learning the techniques of watercolor is fun and easy. Elaine is an experienced watercolorist who will teach you the basics of color and brushstroke from demonstrations and art historical examples. Beginning with still lifes of fruit, flowers and other objects, you will get beautiful results.

Au Plein Air at Pennypack
Bring your paints to Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust in Huntingdon Valley and take in the incredible vistas. Work in your choice of mediums, whether oil, acrylic or watercolor. Mimi is an expert in helping people interpret the outdoors. Class takes place rain or shine. Directions to Pennypack available on request.

Model Workshop
Work from a life model and improve or sharpen your drawing skills. No instruction is involved, yet everyone in class provides support and feedback for one another. Each session begins with several croquis followed by more sustained poses.

Handbuilding
Learn all about clay as an exciting and fun medium! Heather Mae will provide you with the information you need to know in order for you to master handbuilding techniques of this three-dimensional art form. By the end of the semester you will have created your own mugs, bowls or vase. You can even try your hand at making small scale figure sculptures. She’ll take you through the entire process.

Tile Making & Mosaics
Carol has studied mosaic masters in Venice, Italy to inform her instruction and help you design and create your own tiles and mosaics. Note to Students
The class cost covers glazes and the general maintenance of the equipment and studio. Clay and firing costs are additional; clay costs range from $11 to $19 per 25lb bag and should be purchased at the first class. Only AAC clay is permitted. Firing fees are determined per piece. No refunds or credits will be given for any fees or services.
