About: ana
Hello readers! My name is Ana and I was born in Belgrade, Serbia and have since lived in Switzerland, California, and New Jersey (ooh… exotic) before “settling down” in Pennsylvania. Not - only have I lived in some “pretty unique places”, but I also visited amazing cities such as London, Paris, Vancouver and Seattle (this list is very abridged); travel is obviously a passion of mine. I make it a point to visit as many museums as I can on my travels to experience every city’s art and cultures. Some of my favorites have been the MoMA, Musee D’Orsay, Tate, National Gallery in London, and of course our very own Philadelphia Museum of Art. In fact, I could say that I was practically raised at the latter without hyperbolizing! Besides that, I love attending concerts in Philly, figuring out how to use my new SLR camera, and reading books on my hammock when the weather is nice.
On a different subject, I am in the midst of the most nerve-wracking part of the college process: making a decision! Regardless of which university I choose, I’ll be studying journalism (and maybe minoring in art history) with the goal of one day working at a magazine and doing pretty much what I’m doing through this project: reporting cultural happenings, reviewing performances, and talking with artists across all media. I hope you enjoy reading my posts!
