Abington Art Center announces the beginning of a new endeavor which will support the Art Center’s marketing and programs by engaging young people as “cultural reporters” at events and exhibitions. The project, is funded as part of PNC Arts Alive, a five-year, $5 million investment from The PNC Foundation that supports visual and performing arts groups with the goal of increasing arts access and engagement. The Art Center’s $25,000 grant award from PNC Arts Alive represents recognition for bold thinking around increasing arts access and engagement. This prestigious grant was one of only 27 given to arts organizations in the Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey region.
